RANGE CLOSED 8AM to 2PM Work Party Sunday Sept. 22nd

Common Area:

looking for up to 8 volunteers who are willing to learn about the electrical system and are willing to check the state of the system each time they visit the range. Rudimentary electrical knowledge required. Solar experience welcome but not necessary.

Fill the Honda generator with gas. Check the reserve gasoline supply for the Honda and make sure we have at least 5 gallons.
Run the Honda generator and make sure it charges the battery bank. 
Take specific gravity readings for all 8 batteries in the battery box. Top up low batteries with distilled water.

Run a signal wire from the big grey electrical panel to the rifle house. This will be used to get the motion detector in the rifle house more tightly integrated with the new PLC used to monitor the overall electrical system.

Rifle Range:
Check and repair/replace shot up target stands.
Weed whack the  obvious weed overgrowth.
Need a leaf blower or two, to clear the dust and leaves off the solar panels 

Pistol Range:
Check and repair/replace shot up target stands.
Pull up the worn out green outdoor carpeting, scrape off any remaining glue, get it down to bare concrete.
Install steel grate matting in the space the green outdoor carpet was.
Install quarter inch hardware cloth on the right side of each lane above the shooting tables to prevent ejected cases from eroding the soundproofing material.
