in each shooting building.
- All members shall read and be familiar with the safety rules and duties of the Rangemaster
and shall be responsible to see that their guests are familiar with the safety rules.
- Only Full members may bring guests to the range. Individual guests may visit the
range a maximum of three times per year. Visits by youth guests are not limited.
- NO children under the age of seven are allowed on the range. Children brought to
the range must be closely and continuously supervised by an adult.
- The Youth Range is for the sole use of young shooters. Air rifles and .22 rimfire

or when the general public has been invited to use the facility. If three or more
shooting positions are in use when a Rangemaster is not present, the earliest arriving

- When you're finished, remove and put away your target bases and frames, remove your
target materials from the backing, police up your brass, including .22 rimfire, and
take your target materials home. Leave your range and range buildings clean!
- Wildlife on the range is protected. DO NOT fire on ANY animals or birds on the range
property.
The Scotts Valley Sportsmen's Club is a non-profit organization formed to promote
organized rifle and pistol shooting by lawful residents of the United States in our
community, and to promote improved marksmanship and knowledge of the safe handling,
use and proper care of firearms.
We support the development of those characteristics of honesty, good fellowship,
self-discipline, team play and self-reliance which are the essentials of good sportsmanship.
The nature of our sport dictates that each shooter always be aware of the consequences
of their actions. Each shooter must govern their actions in the best interest of
their fellow shooters to insure a safe accident-free activity.
We have the constitutional right to bear arms, and we must continually demonstrate
that we are responsible and conscientious citizens equal to that right.
